The 10th Virginia Regiment is a living history group recreating the life and times of the American Colonial soldier. We are a family based organization covering Michigan and Northern Ohio.
Do you have an interest in American History or traveling to historical places? The 10th Va is looking for worthy recruits to join our ranks. Men, Women and Families are welcome. We can help get you started in re-enacting! Our requirements are that you are willing to have fun, sleep in tents, and have a overwhelming desire to wear wool in summer (ok, well maybe 2 out of the 3 isn’t bad). In one summer you will learn more about American history and the people who founded our country than you ever thought you knew, or read in a school book. We’ve been at the opening shots at Lexington, have crossed the river in Washington’s boat, fought next to Arnold at Saratoga, we were in the trenches at Yorktown, and stood on the surrender field as Cornwallis’ men surrendered and put an end to the war. So- what did you do last summer?
Who are we?
